Side event package

Each approved 90-minute side event is charged at USD 20,000, payable after acceptance. The package includes five complimentary participant registrations — the conference registration fee is waived for those nominees. Compare what is included, then apply. Payable at confirmation of acceptance after notification of selection. Submission does not guarantee approval or scheduling.

Accessibility support, branding and signage are subject to confirmation and Africa CDC approval. Catering, livestream and special equipment are not part of the published fee and may need a separate arrangement. Approval does not imply Africa CDC endorsement.

Before you apply

Follow these guidelines to give your side event proposal the best chance of approval.

Clear proposal
Describe your session theme, target audience, and expected outcomes in the application form.
Organizational capacity
Demonstrate that your organization can host and promote the side event during conference week.
Timely submission
Submit before the application deadline so the programme team can review and schedule your event.
Alignment with CPHIA
Side events should complement the main conference programme and Africa's public health priorities.

Complete the application form with your organization details and session proposal. After acceptance, the conference team invoices the USD 20,000 hosting fee, and approved hosts may nominate five participants for complimentary conference registration.
